Saving low fidelity song clips?

Hi,

I thought there was a way in CD Architect 4.0 to take a small part of a song and save it to a mono, low bit rate file, so I can make a ringtone for my mobile phone. I upgraded to CD Architect and I don't see any options for exporting the audio or saving.

Do I need another program to do sound editing other than CD Architect?

Thanks,

-dave

CD Architect is not an audio editing program.

Almost ANY audio editing program could do this easily. If you are running CDA4 then ou must have Sound Forg. Use this - it's a pretty straightforward procedure, and explained in the help and manual if you can't do it intuitively.

Thanks for the quick reply Geoff. I guess I'll figure out if I want to reinstall CDA4 just to do this or find some other program. I thought I did this in the past but it's been awhile and I couldn't find it anywhere in CDA5.

Thanks for confirming...
