saving mpeg-2 16:9

hi im all new to this but when i save my movie (its in widescreen) when i save it i use the dvd archetect PAL widescreen video streem and it says no audio yet when i play the movie says it 16:9 and it is. i want it with the audio obvioulsy yet when i use dvd pal it goes to 4:3 and im just wondering wat settings to i use to make it the 16:9 like it was on the dvd archetect PAL widescreen video streem thanks

Normally you render your audio file as a seperate step to a WAV file (unless you're running the most recent version in which case you also have AC3 as an option).

If you give the audio file the same name (not extension) and place it in the same directory as your MPEG-2 file, then DVDA should find it automatically.

i haven't tried this for pal video but for ntsc video you can download a free program called dvdpatcher and modify the 4:3 mpeg-2 video and set the 16:9 flag. you have to change "all occurrences" or something like that and you need to make sure all of the parameters match the input (other than the aspect ratio, obviously).
