Saving small Veg projects from main Veg file

How can I save a looped portion of a veg file as a new veg file for that looped portion only without rendering?

Save the full project first! Turn ripple edits on, select everything before the portion you want and press Delete. Select everything after the portion you want and press Delete. Save As to a new file name.

Thanks. I assume then when I exit the original main veg and "do not save changes" that the original veg will still be intact.

I was going to suggest copy/paste into another copy of Vegas. That's what i've done.
