The Edit Details window has been invaluable to me but it has some inconsistencies that I can't seem to get around.
Let's say someone hands me a list of in/out points. (must be a very common practice) Let's say I can get it into Excel (or any format). Now, how can I get them into Vegas so I can apply them to the time line?
My first thought was "No problem! I'll just paste them into the Region page of the Edit Details window and *POOF* I'll have all the regions from the EDL on my timeline. Then I can just use my batch region script to render out the clips! No work for me!"
So I tried and tried and tried some more to get the region data to paste into the table of region data in the Edit Details window but it just stared blankly at me no matter what I did.
Is there a trick? Someone must be getting EDL's and applying them in an automated fashion... I'm just looking for some way to do it even if it isn't the Edit Details window.
