Saw the new Sony HDV camera a Fry's today

Anybody want to spot me $3,750?

The local Fry's Electronics had one on display, and the salesman said he had two in the back. I was impressed by how light the unit was, and how similar it felt compared to my trusty VX2000.

I saw one too - I wanted to check it out but the Fry's guys would barely let me touch it. "It took us forever to get it set up perfect and we don't have the manual" was the sales(!?)guys response.

It wasn't even hooked up to an HD set...

According to the guy they sold 4 of em'. The unit looks great - love the placement of the little monitor and it's 16X9!
