Scaling of Vegas Movie Studio Screwed Up

When I load up Vegas Movie Studio the text scaling is all screwed up. You can see this on the splash screen above. The text is also very large in the editor which makes editing a challenge:

I've tried messing with graphics settings, scaling settings in Windows, resolution etc but can't sort it. Movie Studio is the only software that is having this problem.

Vegas Movie Studio 17 (build 204)

Dell XPS 15 9570

Dell D6000 Dock

Dell U2515H Monitor set to 2560x1440 (recommended)

Windows 10 (recently re-installed, problem persists)

Have you changed the windows settings for fonts?

Have you changed the scaling to anything like 125%, 150% etc. I found doing this really blurred the text, but 100% was too small. The solution; use the custom resize and you can still type 135% but the resultant fonts are suitably resized and not at all blurred.
