Scene Detection and Sony DVX2100

Dv tape shot on my new DVX2100. Will not let scene detection work
had 100+ scenes captured 4. All the footage is there just not cut into
scenes. Put tape in my DVX2000 same thing. Took tape shot on 2000
and scene detection worked using the 2100 and 2000. Any ideas whats
going on.

Was timecode enabled during record on your 2100?

Scene Detection is based on jumps in the Date/Time the tape was recorded. Did you set the clock on the camera?

Setting the clock took care of the problem. Would have never thought of that
one. To simple. Thanks for all the help
