I'm using Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum Edition. I captured a tape and it detected the scenes very well. I finished the first project and created a new project, captured a tape and it only had one scene/clip that was 16Gb. I have verified the "Enable DV Scene Detection" is checked. I have tried 3 tapes since the first one and all 3 are producing a single scene/clip. I have reset the software to default settings by holding down CTRL+SHIFT and then starting the software and I opted to clear the application cache as well.
I need to have the scene detection working again, can anyone help?
