With the advent of Hi-def monitors, what is the current rate limiting step in screen resolution. That is, what is the limit of resolution of:
1. Mini-DV tapes
2. Current 1 and 3 chip prosumer cameras.
3. Vegas Video
4. ?something else
Thanks for the reply.
Are you shooting video that will be shown on HD equipment?
I guess it is the cameras that limit the resolution. I have heard of some cameras mentioned on this forum whose "footage" will be transerred to 35mm film -Diego
I just watched "28 Days Later" on High def cable the other night.
I believe it was shot with Panny 100a's if I remember correctly.
It looked pretty good for being DV upconverted and displayed 1080i
