SCREENBLAST FUNCTION INTEGRATION / CAPABILITIES

I'm a Video Factory user who is looking at upgrade to ScreenBlast. I want to be able to enjoy the integrated DVD burning, I think it's too much trouble to render it, then have to go to another program and burn to DVD. I want to be able to edit video then burn directly, generally speed up the whole process of going from DV in the Sony camera to MPEG2 on DVD.

Screenblast looks like a more powerful product (as far as editing) than VideoWave Movie Creator, however I don't see any mention of the ability for Screenblast to:
1) Capture raw video to MPEG2, or
2) Write DVD's in MPEG2 format from within the program (it says only DV format on DVD).

VideoWave claims to be able to do those 2 things, can ScreenBlast?

need an all-in-one package that works (and doesn't cost $500 dollars....)!

Screenblast Movie Studio doesn't really include DVD authoring/burning. What you get with the package is a copy of MyDVD. So, you'll edit and render the video in Movie Studio as usual, then use MyDVD to create the DVD.
