Script for easier pre-rendering?

I was wondering if there is, or if someone could easily write a script that simply pre-renders the selected loop to whatever format was selected last in the pre-render dialog. This would be more consistent with pre-rendering on other NLEs, where you don't have the middle step of having to select the rendering format every time. It would also save some time when you have to pre-render well over a hundred times to preview short sections that you need.

A script doesn't know the last format rendered.

Oh, maybe I didn't explain it correctly. I didn't mean that the script should recognize what format the user rendered to in the last preview. Basically it would have to be very simple, just execute the "Selectively Prerender Video" command, followed by an Enter keystroke. That way, instead of doing one keystroke to manually bring the prerender video dialog and then pressing Enter, you would only need one keystroke assigned to the script that would start prerendering the loop. It's not a huge timesaver, but it saves some time in the long run and it would be nice to have.

Scripts cannot "Selectively Prerender Video" so there is no way to implement this.
