Script for setting in/out points automatically?

It looks like I'm going to have to rebuild a project in Vegas that was originally done in Premiere, due to a rendering error in Vegas and a lack of EDL options. To try to save myself some time, I'm going to trim the project in Premiere, which will give me the exact clips I need for the Vegas project (so I don't have to hunt through the clips to find the in and out points). However, for safety's sake I'd like to keep a head and tail on the trimmed clips of say 15 frames. Which brings me to my question -

Is there a script for Vegas which would automatically set the in and out points of a clip, so that I can just drag the clip onto the timeline without having to set the in/out points at 15 frames every time?

A script could be written that would trim 15 frames off the front and back of a selected clip. However, the clip would have to already be on the timeline. It wouldn't happen automatically when you dropped it onto the line. You would also have to make sure that if run multiple times, a clip wasn't selected during the multiple runs or it would be trimmed again. But, yes, it can be done.
