I'm trying to perfect a workflow that allows me to capture an entire tape, then use save as/copy trimmed media to split up the long files into shorter ones. (See http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=498241).

So far, so good, but I'd like to be able to see the comments I create when I'm setting the regions iin Media Manager. I notice that Vegas saves the region name to the "active take" when you open the trimmed veggie file. Is there any way to batch save all the active take name of each event on the timeline to the associated media "comments" field, so I could see this in MM?

Alternative ways of getting to what I'm looking for would be also welcome. I thought about just rendering out new files named for the regions, using the JHM Batch Render GUI script, but I don't want to lose the recapture information. Save/Copy trimmed files retains this information, but "render as" does not.
