Script to render single items from the timeline

Does anyone know a script that can render all single selected videos on the time line?

I do a lot of handheld recording and deshake all media before editing. For this I use the Deshake-script but it leaves the deshaked videos on the timeline and I have to render them one by one for later use.
It would be great if a script could do this work and render them to another directory but with the same names as the originals.

Of course the luxury model would be something like Gilles Proxy script with a built-in deshaker... please? ... svp?... :-)...

Why not just use the renders created by Deshaker? They're new files added back to the timeline as takes.

Right, but:
1. the files created by Deshaker are HUGE .avi files
2. I normally render the deshaked files to m2t which are fast to preview and do not need recompression as I render my finished videos to m2t.

So therefore I normally put my raw material to the timeline (we are talking about hundreds of short 30fps-720p videos (5-50 seconds)) and deshake them all.
Afterwards I apply some Neat, colour ot other fx's and then it comes: here I would like to run a script that transforms all the clips to 30fps-720p with same namesready for the final editing (which at this point is mostly the arranging and cutting part)

There are many scripts out there that will put regions around each clip. The built-in batch render can render each region to a new file. That might be a reasonable place to start.
