Script to reorder clips

I transfer a lot of film to video for clients. Often I get a shoebox full of 50 foot reels and the client has only a general idea of the order. While it's conceptually simple to reorder clips / events in the editing phase, it becomes very time consuming when there are 20 or 30 events to be moved.

Is there a script existing that would enable events to be marked, then reordered automatically?

Thanks

Press and hold the right mouse button. Drag the clip to its new destination. Release the right mouse button. Select "Shuffle" from the pop-up menu that appears.

... all this using the Selection Edit Tool (little ant-square and arrow on top) to select all the clips at once before moving and Shuffling...

Or you go Auto-Ripple, move the clips to the right of the point where you want to insert your new clips (thus creating a "hole") and then moving the clips (all selected together with same tool I mentionned) by right-clicking, moving, then choosing Move clip(s) Or pressing M when you got them in the "hole".
