There's a few ways I think of doing it, Norm...

Probably the easiest would be instead of chapters in a longer video title, use separate titles -- 1 for each chapter... Set the end action of each to a menu page, and that menu will stay on screen until the viewer clicks the button linked to the next clip.

Using one video file with chapters can work the same way, but it's maybe a bit more work... Drag (or insert) the same video file several times, so that you have a title copy for every chapter you want to pause. Set each copy of the title to only play that chapter, and again it's end action would be a menu page. [there have been many posts explaining copying a title & limiting the chapters played if you browse/search this forum.]

Another method (though probably not the one you'd want to use) would be to use PgcEdit to insert cell (chapter) commands that execute when the chapter's done playing, in this case jumping to a menu page... Technically it might be more efficient than having several titles, but the learning curve would make up for that IMHO.

PGCedit makes it pretty simple -- just double-click on the Title, and change the cell "STILL TIME" (0-254 seconds, or 255 for Infinite Pause until viewer hits play)

Thanks for the suggestions... they got me headed in the right direction. But, to accomplish what I needed - I created separate menu pages for each video segment where the background media for each menu was a still image captured from the last frame of the previous video segment. This gave the appearance of freezing on the last frame of each video segment and an opportunity for the viewer to press play/enter to continue when ready. A small text only button was the end action for each video segment which when the viewer press play would start the next video segement. There might be a better way... and I'll keep looking, but in a pinch this worked just fine. Thanks again everyone!
