Is anyone out there using this combination yet? The VW-BN1 DVD burner sounds like a great way to make backups of your SDHC memory card, plus I understand that the DVD's are viewable on the PS3 or other BR players. My question is if you are able to work with the disks directly from Vegas, or if you need to restore back to SD card and then recapture from camera.
For example, say I shot 1 hours worth onto SD, made a copy to the DVD with the burner, and cleared off the SD card. If I now want to import into Vegas and work with it, can I do that directly from the DVD I made, or do I need to restore the DVD back onto the SD card through the camera first?
