Seamless Looping

I using an animated menu (background). Every time the background video loops there is a very perceptable "jump" in the video. I do not mean the glitch that happens if the raw video isn't quite perfectly matched at the "seam".

I mean it's an actual "jump" and that the currently selected menu choice is RESET back to the first one. For example, if while it's looping I move the "focus" from the first menu choice to the third menu choice, then when the loop restarts the "focus" move back to choice one.

Another interesting "feature".... Even though my menu video is exactly 24 seconds long, if I check "auto-calculate length" it shows 00:00:24.024 in the length. Maybe that .024 is causing the glitch??

OK, I uncheck auto-calculate length and enter 00:00:24... Click preview or make DVD and the length automatically sets itself to 00:00:00.400 Huh??? What's this all about?? It sets the length to 4 tenths of a second??

I'm a dummy, so if it's something obvious, don't laugh too hard. 8-)

Thanks

As far as I know, the length is dictated by the AUDIO file, and not the video file. You should choose an audio file that is exactly 24 seconds (or 48, 72, etc) long.
