Sections into One (?)

I am creating a large photo montage project in Vegas 7. About 1300 slides/pictures. Render time is a bear, so I want to do it in sections. My question is: If I have 8-10 different Mpeg2 movies and put them on DVDA4, can I make it so they play on a DVD player as if it is one movie with no pause between sections? How do I do that? Forgive me but I usually just use my DVDA for single movie making and don't know much at all about menu based. I don't want to render too big of chunks because it takes forever. Any advice would be great!!!

There will always be a pause between the movie segments - no way around it; on some players the pause will be more visable than others.

The only solution I can think of would be to join the multiple MPG's together using something like the merge function in TMPGenc's mpeg tools.

Personally, if I were actually to sit thru 1300 pictures, I'd be likely so mentally exhausted as to not notice any slight pauses between clips.
