Seeking 1950's Sound

I am trying to finish a promo for a 50's music show, I have a clean VO track that I would like to texture with a 1950's feeling.

Any ideas?

So far I am close but not happy, (Reverb, compression, and a little eq)

There is a plugin for Vegas called Zotope vinyl. It can add dust/scratches and give tonal corrections that make it sound like a 50's record.
Don't know if that is what you're looking for.

Try adding the distortion plugin and some of the presets like "Lil' Warmer".

There are parameters you can adj. to possibly get your sound.
