What I want: position cursor, click a keyboard combination and know for sure everything on all tracks past the cursor is selected.
I have a six minute show with a hundred events on 20 tracks. I want to insert an event and its audio in the first third of the show.
Isn't there some command that allows me to position the cursor and select all events on all tracks past the cursor?
How does one RELIABLY select EVERYTHING past the cursor and move everything right to open up the show or left to close up a gap?
The Selection Edit Tool is a pain. For one thing, I can't conveniently fit all 20 tracks on the screen at once vertically. And If I make the show small enough to use the tool, the events are so tiny I don't know if desired events are selected.
