I'm sure everyone else knows the answer to this, except me. I've looked in the Vegas PDF manual and did a search here but wasn't able to find the answer...
I am using 3D track motion to put a video image over a background template that has a TV screen at an angle. So I set up a track with the video event over the background and make it a 3D track. I can size and move the image over the background fine, but I also need to rotate it around the Y axis to match the angle of the background TV screen.
The thing I can't figure out is how to select the axis that rotates (I am using the mouse to move the image in the track motion screen rather than entering the coordinates).
I have tried all the buttons that restrict motion (they don't seem to effect rotation).
Sometimes it works OK and other times the rotation is around a different axis and I can't for the life of me figure out what I do different when it work.
I'm sure it's an obvious answer but it has got me stumped.
