Selecting Rotation Axis in Track Motion

I'm sure everyone else knows the answer to this, except me. I've looked in the Vegas PDF manual and did a search here but wasn't able to find the answer...

I am using 3D track motion to put a video image over a background template that has a TV screen at an angle. So I set up a track with the video event over the background and make it a 3D track. I can size and move the image over the background fine, but I also need to rotate it around the Y axis to match the angle of the background TV screen.
The thing I can't figure out is how to select the axis that rotates (I am using the mouse to move the image in the track motion screen rather than entering the coordinates).
I have tried all the buttons that restrict motion (they don't seem to effect rotation).
Sometimes it works OK and other times the rotation is around a different axis and I can't for the life of me figure out what I do different when it work.
I'm sure it's an obvious answer but it has got me stumped.

in the left side of the track motion tool are the controls. Obviously, you've seen those.
Look at:
Position
Orientation
and right below that is one called Rotation. Click the small + sign next to the word Rotation. This will open 6 dialogs, X,Y, Z, and offsets for each of those.
This is where you'll set Rotation. You can manually type in the rotation value, use the slider to slide-set the value, or use the spinners to set the Rotation.

Thanks Spot - I guess I wasn't paying attention in class in Chicago...
I give that a try when I get home. I knew it had to be simple.... Duh !

Spot, I gave it a try when I got home and while you can change the rotation in the dialogs you mention (and is maybe the smarter way of doing it), I was trying to change the rotation by clicking and dragging the mouse on the schematic view in the track motion window by watching the image in the preview window while I manipulated the track motion view with the mouse.
I thought you were suggesting that by clicking on one of the axis values in the dialogs ("Y" for instance) that it would select "Y" axis rotation when I used the mouse in the track motion view window. That evidently wasn't what you meant.
What I did notice in my latest test was that when you hover the mouse over different axis representations in the schematic view the specific axis is highlighted and if you click and drag, the rotation is around the highlighted axis. That's the good news. The bad news is when you are not working with a full screen image (I was trying to work with a nine video screen wall template) the resulting schematic outline of the image is so small you can't see which axis is highlighted to select the axis for rotation.
But, I guess the best thing to do is follow your advice and enter the rotation in the dialog box rather that trying to use the mouse on the schematic view.

If you click on the dialog box, it will open a slider underneath. This is what I use when I'm working with really small pieces in the 3D view.
