selection highlights

I am having a problem with a Philips DVR620VR. It does not show selected highlights. This makes it very difficult to keep track of where you are.
I have run my DVD on the preview in DVDA 2, on the Roxio player on my system, a GO Video player and an older Philips. Everything works fine on these.
Any ideas as to why the DVR620 won't show the highlights? If I count presses the proper selection occurs. It's a pretty new machine.

PS anyone know where the "Ignore this user" came from? I just joined and I don't think I bothered anyone.

Do you have the latest update, 2.0b? This sounds like a bug that was fixed a while back.

You click that if you want to forever ignore the person whose note you're currently reading. It doesn't mean you're being ignored.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I do have 2.0b build 130.
also thanks for the "ignore" explanation, that makes sense.

Problem solved by uninstalling and reinstalling DVD-A software. Couldn't believe that it could be corrupt yet seem to work so well.
