Selection Length Not Showing

For some reason, my VP13 at home is not showing the selection length in the lower right of the timeline. I have selection start and end only. My Vegas at the office shows it. Unfortunately I cannot find anything regarding it in the help section or on the forum.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you selected the area once again, by clicking+dragging above the ruler? The selection area should be highlighted in blue. Then the length should be shown in the right bottom corner.

If you click beside the selection the blue highlight will de disabled, including the selection info.

This is all due to the fact that in the 13 version added the lower Timeline Toolbar. Timeline Toolbar icons moved indicator “Selection Length”. Try to reduce the width of the Track List. To do this: click with the left mouse button on the narrow strip between Track List and the Time Line Area. Move the strip to left until the indicator appears. Sorry for my "googlish-english".
