Self Contained Time Line Segments

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to make a selected section of a Platinum 10 Movie Studio video so that it will be a stand alone self contained video? I would like to segment my finished product and turn the segments into stand-alone elements that can be archived on DVD's. In this case I could only put about 20 +/- minutes of time line video on a DVD - but it would essentially be in the same format as it was on the Mini DV tape I used for input. Thank you.

Select a 20 minute loop region of the video. I prefer to do this by putting the cursor at 0:00:00;00 and pressing the i key, then at 0:20:00;00 and pressing the o key. That way you know you have exactly the range you want selected so there won't be any gaps or overlaps between sections. Render to DV .avi and make sure the "render loop region only" option is selected. You'll get a 20 minute .avi file that you can burn to a data DVD. Move the selection down to the next 20 minute section from 0:20:00;00 to 0:40:00;00 and repeat until done.
