selling my old VMS

Anyone know what I need to do when I sell my VMS to someone? Mine is registered here but I want the new owners to be able to register the same product. I upgraded to VMS 10.0 HD and no longer need my 9.0 that I'm selling to them. I'd like them to have access to the benefits here and not run into trouble in any way. Thanks so much.

Contact customer service. I've found that by phone works best. Tell them the name & email address of the person who is buying your license. They'll invalidate your serial number and grant them a new one. After that they can register it under their own serial number.

Note that if you've used your version 9 license to get the upgrade discount then they won't be eligible to receive the discount from it. Only one discount per license is allowed. However, should they upgrade to 10 at full price, then at that point they'll be eligible for the discount on future upgrades.
