semi-new to vegas, how to pan/crop/move clip with effects?

I'm semi-new to Vegas overall, but I understand a lot of the basics. As far as I can tell, though, I have no clue how to deal with this problem. Apologies if this question is dumb. Say I apply S_WarpPerspective to this checkerboard clip. If I use Pan/Crop on it, it obviously moves the checkerboard inside the effect. However, in this case, I'd want to move the entire screen, including the effect. How would I go about this?

I'm using Vegas Pro 15.0.

Try Track Motion?

Or PIP Video FX on the Event.

You might also make sure that the effect is on the left side of the Pan/Crop so that it gets applied first.

When you use Track Motion, it is somewhat like a Pan/Crop for the track itself, so, you can apply the effect, as you'd like, to the individual event(s) -- then --- using Track Motion, make the adjustment (presumably to shrink) and that way, your effects are not destroyed in the way event pan/crop would.

Good tutorial on Track Motion (all of Andrew Devis' stuff is great)
