Selected tracks: Split will now select the newly created events.

When it comes to editing mode, some Vegas users may adopt this mode : "S" Key to split, "Alt+[" Key to trim the start, "Alt+]" Key to trim the end. This editing mode sometimes simplifies the workflow. But you need to switch frequently among the three Keys during editing in a big project.

For quite a few Vegas users, their preferred editing mode is still following VEGAS characteristic : "S" Key to split, "Delete Key" to remove useless clip. The keys you need to bear in mind in this editing mode are less, they are also more widely used in other windows softwares.

However, there is a imperfection of VEGAS characteristic editing mode. That is after you delete a clip, you need to select the next clip manually for subsequent splitting work. If there are N clips needing to delete in your project, then you will waste N times of time.

Now, after deleting a clip, SeMW's "splitting selected track" allows you to do subsequent splitting work without select the next clip. It will save N times of time if you prefer VEGAS characteristic editing mode.
