Well I know for a fact DVD's work on PC's and MAC's the same, so if you make a DVD there'll be no problem. And I'm pretty sure .avi files play just fine as well. My brother has a mac at his place and I take him videos all the time to watch and we've never had a problem. He does have OSX though. I'm not sure about older versions.

Thanks Sonic, thats kinda what I thought, but I thought I'd ask to be sure.
I am also 99% sure he has OSX as well.

We'll see then. I'm no expert, just someone who knows someone with a Mac. :D Personally i can't stand macs, but that's completely off topic...

Works fine, some Macolites kind of baulk as they're not that familiar with AVI files so their jaws kind of hit the floor when they discover they can open them.

Just scrathing my head trying to remember. Unless I forgot something the only major video file format Mac users have trouble with is MOV. But I could be mistaken, haven't had my first cup of coffee yet.

That would be very odd if Mac users had trouble with MOV files. MOV is the native QuickTime file type, and QuickTime is from Apple. Basically, MOV is to Mac as AVI is to PC.
