Separating stereo tracks for editing

Original video recorded with stereo audio track. Left is connected to wireless microphone A. Right is wireless microphone B. Goal is to have separate audio tracks for each microphone so the audio for each person can be tweaked individually. Final rendering is tracks mixed together into mono. Can't for the life of me figure out how to do this. Any suggestions?

This is a somewhat common question.. If it isn't listed in FAQ or the Knowledge Base, it ought to be.
One of a few options:
Create a new audio-track ( Ctrl+Q) Copy/paste the event you wish to work with to this new track.
On one of the tracks, 'Right-click' the event and select "Channels"; choose 'Left'.
On the other track, do the same, except choose 'Right'. This gives you two separate mono tracks.

Addendum, Even easier, 'right-click' in the track header box and choose "Duplicate".
This will copy all the events in the selected track.. which may, or may not be desired.
