seperate audio and video tracks

I load video/audio content into the timeline. I would like to be able to edit just the video or just the audio. when I make a selection, both audio and video tracks are selected together. Is there a way to work on one of those tracks independent of the other? I would like to lay down an audio track and edit video in time with the soundtrack.

Click on either the audio or the video. Press U to ungroup.

Not sure about the Studio version, but there may be an button in the toolbar that looks like a padlock. Click that and all audio & video becomes unattached.
