Sequence of FX

Hi,

does the sequence in which you apply filters make a big differnce.
are there any general rules to follow

here are the ones im thinking of applying to a clip
black restore, color curves,median, sharpen,border

i guess the border one can be done anytime, but should i use median filter first ?

The only thing I'd suggest swapping there is Black Restore, coming after C/C. Median after Sharpen would have a different result, it's a question of what you need.

And yeah, the order matters a lot. If you had a chroma key then a color correct, it will color correct what's left after the key. But, if you did correct then key, it would adjust all the colors then key them. Very cool. :)
