Serial Number

Hi, I was just wondering how to solve my little startup problem. I can't start the program without entering my serial number(Of the product), but unfortunately I can't find the manual or original box that the serial number is found on. How can I use the program, when the computer keeps prompting me to enter the code I don't have?? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I need the program for a project. Thanks!!

Call Sonic Foundry support. If you registered before, they can get you set-up.

You say....

"Hi, I was just wondering how to solve my little startup problem. ...How can I use the program, when the computer keeps prompting me to enter the code I don't have??"

You can't. The computer is doing exactly what it should.

Hmmm.... have actually used the program before? If you had you must have used the code and I suppose registered it. Oh yeah - you must have, because you also say, "but unfortunately I can't find the manual or original box that the serial number is found on". Did you originally register the original "boxed" copy with SoFo? It is something people sometimes overlook that they have done.

Unfortunately - ... No Code! No Show! How important is that project to you? 60 bucks worth? Ah go on, put it down to experience and let's see your project.

What is it by the way? Hmmmm.....

Is this the first time you have installed the product? It should only ask for the code once.

Isn't it funny how people that come looking for a serial number, rarely come back to post again.

Just out of curiosity (for I've already registered) I went looking for a serial number out there. Took me 5 minutes!
