Serial Number activation

I may have a problem here but on the other hand, maybe I don't so advice is requested.

For several months now I have had VMS HD Plat. along with DVDA 5.0 installed on my machine as a purchased package. Recently I decided that the 'extras' afforded in the Production Suite would be desirable and set about investigating upgrade options. The best value I could find was offered by Amazon, so I went ahead and ordered, subsequently installed.
However, the application offered me no activation method i.e. entering a S/N because it picked up that the two above prime applications were already installed. So I uninstalled VMS and DVDA, used a registry cleaning app - CCleaner - and reinstalled everything from the Production package. I was able to activate all the 'extras' but the original S/N's are still showing in 'About' , plugins are showing and working and in short, everything is working just dandy. I am assuming that the S/N activation for VMSP and DVDA are buried in the registry and remain there even when the apps are uninstalled.

Normally I would be happy, but I am concerned that come the next version should I decide to upgrade to version 12 say, that I won't be able to obtain the upgrade price because the 'Production Suite' S/N's are not showing in the install.

Can anyone offer advice concerning this? Is it possible to clean out the S/N activation from the registry and if so how do I set about doing it......in simple terms please. If not possible I guess that I should be contacting Sony?
Thanks.

What SNs show in My Account (link above) > My Software. If they match what is in Help > About then you're good to go.

That's what SCS will use when you upgrade.

Yes, that's the problem - the S/N's shown in 'My Account' reflect those provided for the initial purchase of VMSP and not with those provided with the later Production Suite.
If nobody chips in with a solution over the next few hours I'll have to connect Sony Customer services although my last experience with them took forever.

If you didn't make use of your original serial numbers to obtain an upgrade discount directly from Sony, then they are still available to be used in the future.

In fact, you should now have two sets of serial numbers that could both be used.

Ah but I did. I started off with v9, upgraded to v10 and once again to v11. I'll be telephoning Sony in 20 minutes or so (to my frustration they are only contactable CST time) and I'll see what they have to say.

Edit: OK, problem resolved. After 90 minutes of being placed on hold by Sony Customer Services (good thing my calls don't cost anything) I finally gave up and in my frustration deleted everything Sony from the PC's Registry. Risky I know, but following uninstalling and then installing VMS and DVDA the applications finally threw up the menu allowing me to enter the S/N's appertaining to the Productivity Suite. All's now well and I'm good to go. No wonder things are not going too well at Sony and they are having to lay staff off. Their Customer Services has never been all that good and appears to be getting worse over time.
