I got it to work after trial and error. Turning off "Hardware accleration" did not help so I went back to the old Nvidia 14.83 standard drivers just to see if it would help. I left "Hardware accleration" on and tried it, again it restarted the computer after some time of rendering. Again with 14.83 I turned "Hardware Acceleration" off and still no luck but It did not restart I simply got a incomaptible application error in Win Xp. So I checked for latest updates from Microsoft for WinXp and installed them. This time with "Hardware acceleration" on it worked. It's a long slow process with the file I'm using but next I'm going to try it with the new 28.1 drivers and see.

Have a Good Day

The most stable drivers "proven" for XP with any GeForce MX card is detonator driver version 22.80, 10/26/2001 (no - not 28.80...22.80)

get them here: http://www.guru3d.com/files/detonator/

REMEMBER: Always change your vide driver to STANDARD PCI VGA adapter first...THEN upgrade teh drivers.
