Set default project folder

I don't want projects saved in My Documents\Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 Projects\ but I can't seem to find a folder locaiton option to tell Vegas to save elsewhere. Any thoughts on how I fix this?

Just do Save as and enter the preferred directory. VMS remembers it till next time.

Or when you create a new project, click the Browse button to navigate to a different parent folder for your projects, then type in the project name. That folder will be remembered for other new projects you create.
