set event length weirdness

Hi folks,

Not sure wether I should have posted this in the "scripts" forum, but I think it is more of a Vegas thing.......

Anyhoo, I regularly import PNG sequences onto the timeline and use the "set event length and crossfade" script to make them all 1 frame in length. They generally automatically butt up to each other, which is how I want it, all except this one project. It's bizarre, when I run the script, the length changes to 1 frame, but they remain in their original timeline positions, and don't butt together.
If I open a new project and import the same PNG sequence, run the script, there is NO problem.
Can anyone think of any reason why this one project would behave like that? I'd really appreciate any thoughts.

Regards,

T

Out of curiousity, if it's an image sequence why don't you File - Import, pick the first file, and check the "Image Sequence" checkbox? Then it would be treated as a single event.

Jet, you have just BLOWN MY MIND!!!!!!!

Man, have I been doing things the loooong way!

I can't thank you enough for bringing this feature to my attention, I simply did not know it existed and have been using Vegas for some time now..... Wow, what can I say...............

I just imported a sequence that I created in Particle Illusion and it instantly came in perfectly!

Thanks again man, you've opened up a whole new world for me.

Cheers,
