Set media position by time request feature

I have not upgrade to V16 yet, and probably won't until I upgrade my computer which I hope to do soon. But this is something I have always wanted but really wanted it today.

When I drag a media event (in this case audio) to a timeline, I wish I could set its position by timeline time. For example. I want the audio to start at 00:00:00. I find myself clicking and dragging on the audio a couple of times until I am sure it is at the beginning of the timeline. Anybody else think they would find this feature useful?

Maybe there is something nuanced about this request that I don't understand, but can't we already do this? In multiple ways?

For example, type 10s (10 seconds) into the timecode box at the bottom right corner of the UI. The cursor moves to 10 seconds. Drag the media in and snap it to the cursor. Or you could set a marker, or use the trimmer "A" command if you don't wan't to drag media, etc.

Kinvermark, you are right, there are ways using cursor position and such. I was thinking of incorporating it as one of the rightclick drag functions. When you rightclick and drag from the media pool to the timeline, there is "add by time", "add by track", it would be beneficial, to me anyway, to have a "add at time" option. Where you are offered the opportunity to type the beginning time.
