Set Vegas so new tracks load with no effects?

Is there a way to set Vegas so when you create a new track, there are no effects (compressor, eq, gate) automatically loading when created?
Can you set up Vegas to load a specific effect plug in lieu of the default effects?

Yes. Set up a track how you want - with specific plugs or with none.

Right click on the track and select

Set Default Track Properties

from the context menu.

The context help of this dialog should cover the actual settings and usage.

delete all track effects from a track

right click the track

Choose:"set default track properties" then choose your options from there
