Sharing Between Projects

I would like to make a project that would act as a library for my favorite VMS effects, text, transitions, ect. I don't want to render them, as I would loose all the seperate tracks, effects, and layers. I have tried to open a project, copy something, and then open another project (my library) and paste it, but with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks. Cin

Did you open the new project in the same Vegas window as the "library" project? If so, this also closes the library project and Vegas dumps the copy & paste buffer. Open a second Vegas window and leave the library project open in one of them. You can then copy & paste to the other window.
