Sharp Video

I have a DV camera and when I look at video on TV screen the quality to shart...When I create DVD the quality is VHS quality.

I have set my setting to 720x480 and video capture to best.

But the captured video is sharp too, but dvd quality is bad.

How can I get my DVD project to be as sharp as my video caputered.

P.S. DVD production is set to best too.

Video on DVD is compressed, but you shouldn't really see that drastic of a difference. Are you using "best" settings both when you prep your MPEG AND when you burn your DVD?
