Show file names for stills?

I believe I'm correct that Vegas has no option to display the file names on stills that have been placed on the timeline. (similar to how video clip names can be displayed for clips on the time line.)

If I'm missing something, someone please correct me.

If I'm not, then Sony - PLEASE add this as an option. Its a real pain to try to ID stills with the work-arounds available...

I'd say you must be missing something. I see the file name for stills on the timeline the same way i see the file name for video clips.

It may well be that your stills are so short in length on the timeline than you can't see them. What happens if you zoom in deeply?
If you have "View names" enabled, they'll be there whether it's audio, graphic, or video. But you may need to zoom deep to see it.

Duh - forgot that "active take" controlled the display of video file names, so I couldn't even remember how I got those to display.

I'm much happier now, and with a large slideshow job coming, I'll be much easier to live with if I can easily ID the file names.

Thanks,
