Show unused subclips

I just opened a project that I haven't worked on in a long time. I have a ton of identified subclips that are NOT showing up in the Project Media pane. The only clips showing up in Project Media pane are the clips that are currently in use in the project.

How do I get Vegas to show me all of those subclips that are currently not being used? Is it possible that I have purged the unused clips from the .veg file and now I can't get them to show back up in Project Media?

Yes. This is almost certainly what you did. You cannot get them back, because that's the idea of the purge icon (the little "lightning bolt"). However, if you have a BAK for the VEG, perhaps that is a slightly earlier version before you purged. You could also try a file recovery utility to see if there are any remnants of earlier VEG saves.
