Shuttering in video preview

Hey, quick question:
I have some problems with the video preview. Its "shuttering/hang" if click "play" with video preview.

My Computer Specs:
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 24GB zotac
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16x 5.7GHz
- 64GB DDR5-RAM PC-6000 (2x 32GB)
- Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

I dont know wich settings could be important for that?
Videos get recorded with Streamlabs OBS in 60 FPS on a 4K resolution Monitor:


If more informations needed, please just hit me up, i am "new" to video editing, so would be happy about some help with that issue :)

Which Vegas version and buildnr. is used.
Untill 10 days ago all Vegas versions needed for fluent playing of a 4K source the use of proxies.

I am using VEGAS PRO 21.0 (BUILD 300)

5 seems like an extremely high quality level. Try say 17 for quite high?

Set key int to 1 in OBS too.

Beyond that the new decoder in VEGAS should be optimal for h264. If you want to test the old one, check legacy AVC in preferences, file io.
