ShuttlePro / ShuttleXpress

I often need to scroll through a clip frame-by-frame and select frames to capture (snapshot). Anyone know if you can map a button on either the ShuttlePro or ShuttleXpress that will do snapshots? Since I have so little desk space, the ShuttleXpress would be best for me. It would also be necessary to map a button to <enter> so repeated snapshots could be taken without using the keyboard.

Haven't done it myself, I just use the standard Shuttle prefs but yes you can map any button to any key.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut for "snapshot". I noticed in the ShuttleXpress ad that it comes pre-configured for several programs. I was just hoping Vegas might be one of them and snapshot was one function they supported. Wishful thinking I guess.

Vegas IS one of them. So is Sound Forge. So is Acid. However, you can change the presets. If there's a keyboard shortcut for what you want to do, chances are you can program it.

There is no keyboard equivalent to the steps need to grap snapshots, so no, you couldn't do it. However, Neon has two tools that allow you to go through your project, define your frames, and save all your frame snaps in one go.
