Contour Design, the maker of the ShuttlePro and Xpress jog/shuttle controller now has combo deals with Worldtech keyboards for Vegas.

For example;

Vegas Complete Control Bundle with ShuttlePRO V2. Includes 1ea. ShuttlePRO V2, WorldTech Sony Vegas Keyboard - $129.95

Vegas Complete Control Bundle with ShuttleXpress. Includes 1ea. ShuttleXpress, WorldTech Sony Vegas Keyboard - $99.95

I recently bought a Worldtech keyboard and a Shuttlexpress off of ebay and it still cost me more than the second bundle above.

BTW, I have no connection with Contour Design. I found it while looking at the VASST website;

Got this bundle via Videoguys a year ago and I think it was the same price. You might check with them and see if they still offer the bundle.

I've never used a ShuttlePro. How does it compare in feel and functionality to a typical industrial/pro VTR's shuttle?

I don't have the pro, only the XPress - however I can say that the "wheel" part I think is the same and that is the same - outer wheel and inner wheel. Inner goes one frame, outer is for the jog/shuttle functions. It also will control the deck via the capture app as well.
