Did you have to do something special or does your shuttle just automatically work? This is what I was expecting but not this time, even after I copied my settings under the Vegas 18 name. When I opened this "18" it showed up as 17, I guess I can't even lie to 18.
Grazie, is there a place in the Vegas setup where you indicate you want to use Shuttle Pro? Maybe I have forgotten what I had to do initially and now with the new 18 update I am missing it.
Yes, this is the way I have always done it but my problem this time is that the "Apply" button stays permanently ghosted. I suppose my next step should be to attempt a new setting from scratch -- if the apply button lets me. Will try. Thanks
Ah, maybe you need to UNPLUG and replug? So when you make changes, you don’t get the APPLY button? Do you see VP18 in the CSP control window in the Windows Task Bar?
This question gets asked a lot... presumably because there is a mis-understanding about how CSP works. It just passes keystrokes to whatever program it targets. In other words, Vegas (or any other program) doesn't need to do anything or know anything about CSP.
So, briefly, what you need to do is open the CSP control software and target Vegas pro 18. You can start with Vegas 17 profile if you like and just target vegaspro18.exe (or whatever it is called.)
@Kinvermark - Yes, Paul needs to pickup the EXE file for VP18. I was hoping that even that 2012 instruction would be his process. But not having the APPLY Button hints at another issue? Maybe the Settings File needs to be rebuilt.. However he still needs that ACTIVE Apply Button. Don’t you think?
Thanks Grazie too. Not that long ago I had some brain injury operated on and many, many things I have to relearn from start. Once I know the answer I can remember it tell the next time I fall on my head. 😬
It happened in a park and the danger spot has been since corrected so the chances of a repeat have been deminished, but the fact is, that stuff like that comes with age.
