silly question

Vegas seems to alway start with its own Explorer in the directory it was open when last closing Vegas - is this true? Now, how do I change this behaviour? Suppose I'd like it to alway start in ../My Documents/Sony Vegas Projects. Hwoever, even if I put this path into the shortcut's "Start in" field, it doesn't work the way I want... It's so silly; what gives?

I think a lot of us have given up on Vegas' directory paths, thrown in the towel, and just reached whichever compromise upsets us the least.

For me, having Vegas start up with whatever directory it was last looking at seems to be a good compromise most of the time. At worse, i move up one level then back down into the directory i want to work in instead. If the tree is open at the left side of the the explorer then this takes only a single click.
