Simple audio fade in/out option

I am a new user to this software and editing requirements are very simple in the first instance..is there a quick simple facility to fade in / out audio as alternative to using frame markers etc

Not sure what you mean by "frame markers", I think mouse dragging the upper corners of the Audio Events is the simplest way to do this in Movie Studio.
